Subject: 5 Types of Headaches and How to Relieve Them

From Name: [[fromName]]

Hi [[leadFirstName]],

Every 10 seconds in the U.S., someone arrives at an emergency room complaining of head pain. While migraines affect an estimated 12% of Americans, many more than that suffer from regular headaches triggered by a number of different causes.

Chiropractic is concentrated on manipulating the spine into the proper alignment, but for many headache sufferers, that proper alignment relieves pressure that is causing frequent headaches.

Below are the most common forms of headaches, all of which can benefit from chiropractic care:

Tension headache: Band of pain across most of the head often caused by stress, noise, fumes, or too much digital screen time.

Sinusitis: Pian occurs at the bridge of the nose and around the eyes. These headaches are most often associated with an upper respiratory tract infection or a cold.

Cluster headaches: Uncommon form of headaches that happens most frequently in women in their early 30s. Pain is severe and typically engulfs one eye area and is occasionally partnered with a closed nostril or excess tear production.

Migraine: Severe head pain partnered with light sensitivity, vomiting, and numbness.

Trigeminal neuralgia: Short bursts of severe pain believed to be caused by damage to the trigeminal nerve, the main sensory nerve serving the face.

Understanding that many types of headaches are connecting to a disfunction in the nervous system means chiropractic is often an effective form of treatment for the pain.
