Mile High Podcast with Jim Chester

Hi [[leadFirstName]],

Welcome to the Mile High Podcast. Today, our guest is Jim Chester, who has dedicated his life to sharing the truth about the chiropractic profession. He is passionate about helping people understand the truth of subluxation-focused chiropractic and supporting the profession year-round.

Jim shared his story of how he found his way into the chiropractic world. He was bartending at a piano bar in Davenport, Iowa (the birthplace of chiropractic) when his door guy, who was playing rugby for Palmer College, suggested he work at his chiropractic office after finishing school. Jim was intrigued by the idea and decided to give it a try. 14 years later, he is still in the profession and is dedicated to spreading the word about the power and truth of chiropractic.

Jim also shared about his role in marketing for chiropractic offices. He realized that he had a real knack for talking to people and getting them to say yes to coming into a chiropractic office. He started an advertising agency and at one point, had 30 clients and was doing 28 screenings a month. He believes that community involvement and outside promotions are essential to the success of a chiropractic practice.

Jim also shared his experience at the 11 Mile High Chiropractic weekends. He loves the community aspect of the event and the fact that people are there for the right reasons. They are building a community and protecting chiropractic by putting their money into groups like Chiro Futures and Sherman College to produce real chiropractors.

In terms of advice, Jim suggests that people challenge themselves to get more mentally tough. He focuses on his body, relationships, spirituality, and business every day and believes that if people focused on these aspects of their life, they would eat better, get stronger, have better devotion and meditation, and find better opportunities in their business world. He also suggests giving more than you ask for, as opportunities will open up.
