Hi [[leadFirstName]],
We hope this email finds you well. In our chiropractic office, we often talk about the "3 T's of chiropractic" - Thoughts, Traumas, and Toxins. These are the three main sources of stress that can cause subluxations, or misalignments, in our bodies. When the body is unable to handle stress, it can store it in the body and lead to symptoms like pain and discomfort.
But don't worry, there are things you can do to proactively reduce stress and take control of your health! Here are a few ways you can tackle each of the 3 T's:

Reducing Emotional Stress: Mental and emotional stress can be a lot to handle, but taking small steps can help make it manageable. One way to reduce stress is by practicing meditation. There are many studies that show the benefits of meditation, including reducing stress and anxiety. If you're new to meditation, consider downloading a free app like Insight Timer to get started.
Reducing Physical Stress: Physical stress can come from things like car accidents, falls, or broken bones. But did you know that a lack of movement can also be a form of physical stress? With technology making it easier to stay seated, it's more important than ever to incorporate movement into our daily routines. During your lunch break, try doing 5-10 minutes of stretching or a quick yoga flow to keep your body moving and healthy.
Reducing Chemical Stress: Our bodies are exposed to a lot of chemicals through the food we eat, water we drink, and even the products we use on our skin. To reduce chemical stress, try to make healthier choices when it comes to what you put in and on your body. One way to start is by purchasing organic food, which has a lower risk of exposure to harmful chemicals and provides more nutritional value. Start small by switching out some of the produce items on the "Dirty Dozen" list.
By taking these steps, you can reduce stress and maintain optimal health. If you're ready to start your journey, we invite you to schedule a New Patient appointment at Impact Chiropractic. Our chiropractors are dedicated to helping you feel and function at your best. We look forward to seeing you soon!
