Subject: Top 3 tips of hyperemesis [nausea + vommiting] during pregnancy

From Name: [[fromName]]

Hi [[leadFirstName]]

Hyperemesis gravidarum, or persistent nausea + vomiting during pregnancy can affect many women. Below we discuss our top 3 tips to combat this during pregnancy!

1. Adjustments

The nerves that exit out of the mid-back innervate [ talk to ] the stomach. When we adjust these segments in the spine, we can decrease symptoms of nausea + vomiting!
In addition, the involuntary innervation of the stomach comes from the vagus nerve! This nerve is located in the upper neck / base of the skull! It is responsible for the "rest, digest, protect" portion of the digestive system!
Below is a diagram to show the relationship of the vagus nerve and the stomach / rest of the body!
This may not make your nausea go away completely, but it can certainly help make it more manageable!

2. Herbal Supplements + Small, Frequent Meals

Certain herbs can be helpful for nausea + vomiting. In addition, eating small, frequent meals can help combat nausea + vomiting during your pregnancy. Try to eat well balanced meals with lots of veggies and try not to eat too late before bedtime!
Below are two of our favorite herbal recommendations:
peppermint [ try diffusing it at home using a diffuser like this one! ]
 - ginger [ in raw form ]

3. Acupuncture / Acupressure

Acupuncture and acupressure points stimulate the nervous system to relax. This can help regulate the digestive system and reduce symptoms of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy!
